
Cistercian Route
A tourist itinerary connecting the three great Cistercian monasteries of Catalonia: Santes Creus, Poblet, and Vallbona de les Monges. It can be explored by car, on foot, or by bicycle, enjoying the landscape and the historical heritage of the country’s interior.
The closest to La Masieta is the Monastery of Santes Creus, located in Aiguamúrcia, it is one of the most impressive monastic complexes in Catalonia and stands out for its Gothic cloister and the central role it played in medieval political and spiritual life.

Outdoor Activities
Live an authentic experience that will reveal an essential part of the region’s agricultural heritage. In less than four kilometers, you will find several dry stone huts, simple constructions perfectly integrated into the landscape. Built without using any cohesive material, these huts offered shelter to farmers, their tools, and small flocks. The route winds through forests and cultivated fields that are still in full activity today.

JORDI SAVALL FESTIVAL / Santes Creus
The Jordi Savall Festival is one of Europe’s most unique music festivals. Founded by the renowned performer and conductor Jordi Savall, the festival offers extraordinary concerts by internationally acclaimed artists and the main musical ensembles created by Maestro Savall. The Jordi Savall Festival offers the audience an unforgettable experience through music in ancient and unique spaces such as the Royal Monastery of Santes Creus, the cities of Valls and Montblanc, and the Convent de les Arts in Alcover.

History and Modernism
A captivating journey through the medieval history of Catalonia. The Gaià river, which acted as a natural border between the County of Barcelona and Al-Andalus, is home to nearly fifty castles and watchtowers built to defend this territory. Some of these fortifications can still be visited and transport us to a time full of legends and history.
This route invites you to discover unique works created by Josep Maria Jujol, a collaborator of Antoni Gaudí. Very close by, you can find the Sanctuary of the Mare de Déu de Montserrat, in Montferri. Other places you can visit are Casa Bofarull, in Pallaresos; the Church of the Sacred Heart, in Vistabella; the Church of the Sacred Heart, in El Vendrell, or the Metropol Theater, in Tarragona, which will surprise you.
This route proposes discovering the modernist wineries designed by the architect Cèsar Martinell, a disciple of Antoni Gaudí, located in the regions of Alt Camp and Conca de Barberà. Here you can admire the so-called “wine cathedrals,” impressive examples of a perfect balance between art and functionality.
Reus is a city that surprises with its rich modernist architecture, with numerous listed buildings that bear witness to its splendor. Among the most prominent are Casa Navàs, Institut Pere Mata, Casa Rull, and Casa Gasull. Furthermore, it is the birthplace of Antoni Gaudí, a fact reflected in the Gaudí Centre, a space dedicated to preserving and disseminating his work and legacy.

Valls, capital of Alt Camp
Valls is the capital of Alt Camp, the birthplace of ‘castells’ (human towers) and ‘calçotades’. An authentic city that combines tradition, culture, and a festive spirit.

Montblanc is a medieval town of great historical richness, surrounded by well-preserved 14th-century walls. It is known for its Medieval Week, which recreates the legend of Saint George.
